At Touch Heals Physical Therapy, our philosophy is that everyone has pain. However, most of us just “push down” the every day aches & pains of our bodies because we are so used to dealing with them that they have become a part of us. We believe that the first step to healing is finding & acknowledging a patient’s pain. Then it can be dealt with.
Our goal & treatment philosophy is to validate that there is a reason for a patient’s discomfort, to address the complaint with a comprehensive treatment plan including treatment modalities, manual therapy, & therapeutic exercise (thus preventing the pain/complaint from becoming an overwhelming force in a patient’s life), & to educate our patients in changes to lifestyle habits so that they can become partners in their own healthcare plan & well-being.
